Terms of Service.

By booking The Lake at Hidden Oaks, you agree to these terms.
1. The Venue
The Lake at Hidden Oaks is a "shell" venue. We provide the property, on-site coordination, and rain backup. We do not provide catering, bar service, florals, decor, photography, music, officiant, or wedding planning. You are responsible for engaging all other vendors.
2. Booking and Deposit
A booking is confirmed only after a 25% deposit (for weddings) or $50 deposit (for tours) is successfully charged. The deposit reserves your date and is non-refundable except as described in the Cancellation Policy.
3. Insurance
You must provide a Certificate of Insurance for $1M general liability naming Hidden Oaks Music & Arts Venue and The Lake at Hidden Oaks as additional insured, no later than 60 days before your event date.
4. Alcohol
Alcohol is permitted but must be served by a TABC-licensed bartender. The Lake at Hidden Oaks does not provide bar service or sell alcohol. Self-service alcohol is prohibited.
5. Vendors
Caterers must provide a Certificate of Insurance ($1M GL minimum). Tents, structures, or pyrotechnics requiring permits must be permitted via Grimes County. Vendor list due 30 days before event.
6. Conduct + Cleanup
Events must end by midnight (Grimes County noise ordinance). You are responsible for coordinating cleanup and trash collection within 24 hours of event end. Damage assessment within 7 days.
7. Liability
You assume all risks associated with using the property. The Lake at Hidden Oaks is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Grimes County, Texas.
